  • My ethos is based on the person-centred, humanistic and integrative approaches, underpinned by the framework of transactional analysis
  • I believe in giving clients a ‘toolbox’ so they can go off once they’ve left me and whatever happens in their lives, they have skills and approaches to problems that they can use
  • I believe it is all about the client: I enter into their world; I don’t expect them to enter into mine. For me, it is about them, their needs, and  how to help them, empower them, and move them forward
  • To me it’s about the relationship between the two of us, as counselling is one of the most intimate relationships you can have, and
  • I believe in building trust so that people feel comfortable with me, because it is an essential part of counselling that people feel able to be who they are, in whatever form, and that’s okay.
  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, and can be flexibly organised to meet clients’ needs
